There are three test tubes. One containing HCl, one containing HBr and containing HI. How could you identify which is in each test tube?

Add acidified AgNO₃ to each test tube. HCl will produce a white precipitate, HBr will produce a cream precipitate and HI will produce a yellow precipitate.
